I
would like to ask everyone to keep sharing this until something is
done. no more "promises" and false propaganda that,"things are getting
better", no more... "we'll put up native art in our mall". NO MORE!
............................................................................................
Edmonton's City Center Mall security is at it again. I walked in to the
dollar store to check out some reading glasses and as soon as in walked
in, a mall cop suddenly appears standing 10 ft. from me and watches me
the whole time I was there. Feeling it's steely gaze upon me, I was
terrified I might be tazed or beaten with its huge Billy club. or even
worse... carded. So I made a hasty retreat, placing a set of glasses in
my hand on a shelf as I attempted to escape. But the beastly soldier of
discount prices and Labor Day sales was too fast and halts my bid for
freedom. it calls out to me and says "sir! May I have those glasses you
took?" I ask it, "what glasses?"......."those glasses in your
hand"......... I say... You mean those one dollar glasses I put right
over there on that shelf! Whew... that was a close one as it retreated
back to its lair just near the entrance to.... THE DOLLAR STORE!
This is after all their hoopla about how it's getting better since what
happened to Gary Moostoose. I also noticed that the first time I posted
this story in the comments of City Center’s FB page, they were just
erased. Then as I posted them again and said I would not let up, then
they take notice. I am not happy and yes it really did happen as I said
it did.
If we wish to change people’s views and make a difference in
this world we must be prepared for what comes with a battle such as
this and that is exactly what it is... a battle. As for going to the
security office, I've been through those proverbial doors before and it
would accomplish nothing since they all work together. I just need to
get the word out that the promises they make, Oxford properties and City
Center Mall... mean nothing.
True stories with a pull no punches view of everyday life from a streetwise lover of Jesus the Christ.
